Deliberate Thoughts
The articles and guide below are written as a reflection of my own deliberate work on my growth journey and are intended for those looking to start or continue their own. Should you have any comments or questions, please feel free to share within the relevant article’s comment section.
Thoughts on Detachment
Many spiritual teachings guide on the importance of detachment on a path to some form of enlightenment. These teachings have application to our lives in very challenging ways that often pin our logical thinking against our emotions and intuition. In better understanding detachment and where it can help in our maturation processes, we give our gut the chance to catch up to our mind to create a more coherent growth journey.
Thoughts on Learning
Our adult life experiences have the power to teach us so much, yet we struggle to absorb the necessary learnings to grow up into mature, conscious humans. Despite the power of experiential learning, there is still a necessary deliberate learning practice that must accompany our processes.
Thoughts on Rituals
We all have routines, traditions, and practices we follow. A ritual, however, usually has a religious and solemn connotation, expressing the gravity of its importance to uphold. It is my belief, however, that the value of rituals would be far more powerful if we saw them as opportunities to learn, reflect, and build authentic community, rather than obligations.
Exploration Guide
This is a free, three-part exploration guide for anyone looking to deliberately dive into their own past, present, and future understanding self. We go deep into self-inquiry and self-reflection to begin the process of building the life-long practice of self-awareness, necessary for any thriving leader or human being.
